Her record
About Dr. Lubna Rani Faysal
Since 2016, she has served as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Dermatology at Pakistan Railways General Hospital, where she combines patient care with her academic and teaching responsibilities. She also sees patients at Islamabad Aesthetic Center in F8 Markaz, Islamabad, offering personalised dermatological and aesthetic care. Her approach is centred on evidence-based medical dermatology, accurate diagnosis, and treatment plans tailored to each patient's individual skin and concerns.
That teaching post is the short explanation for how this clinic works. Someone who has to justify a treatment decision to a room of trainees tends to justify it to a patient too.
In her words
Every day I see around seventy patients, teach future doctors, and treat everything from stubborn acne and pigmentation to hair loss, PRP, injectables and skin rejuvenation. My rule is simple: careful diagnosis first, honest advice always.
I am a consultant dermatologist and aesthetic physician, and Associate Professor and Head of the Dermatology Department at Islamic International Medical College, Riphah International University. I completed my MBBS at Ayub Medical College and my Fellowship in Dermatology (FCPS) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan.

What this practice is built on
- Diagnosis before treatment
- The same-looking rash, or the same thinning hair, can have very different causes behind it, and the cause is what decides the cure. Finding it is what that first appointment is really for.
- You are told what it will not do
- Every treatment here comes with a stated limit and a realistic timescale. Skin is slow, and a plan that pretends otherwise gets abandoned in month two.
- Medical first, aesthetic second
- Aesthetic work is offered where it is the right answer. Sometimes the honest answer is that the condition needs treating and the cosmetic question can wait.
